Dana Dragusica, RP (Qualifying)
Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying)
My goal is to help individuals navigate their current state of wellness while understanding how past attachments, experiences, narratives, and relationships have impacted this phase of life. I work with individuals who are facing perinatal challenges including perinatal anxiety and depression, OCD, infant grief and loss, body image, self-trust, identity shifts, and parenting challenges. I am particularly interested in working with family of origin and family systems, boundaries with self and in relationships, value systems, and societal parenting constructs. My practice draws from a client-centered integrative approach.
Why Work With Me?
As a mom of two small children, I understand how challenging being a parent can be. Please allow me to help you on a journey to self-discovery. I offer a warm, calm, and nurturing environment in my sessions. I provide an individualized treatment plan that considers your particular circumstances and background. Together, let’s help you feel better.
My Approach
I believe in a client-centered approach that focuses on practical skills, and self-discovery. I aim to create an understanding of “why we are who we are'' in our current state. I will help you to identify patterns and narratives that may or may not be serving you any longer. I believe that we can rewire our nervous system with consistency and commitment to change. I understand that there are barriers to making small changes and will address those with you. I will help you to make a sustainable, realistic plan that works for you and your individual needs. I provide support in emotional regulation and offer a solutions-focused view regarding the ever-growing mental load.
