Parenting is both a deeply rewarding and deeply challenging endeavor. Parenting our kids at any stage can bring up big emotions for us that can be especially tricky as we are transitioning to parenthood and are likely experiencing new parent sleep deprivation, experiencing anxiety about newborn sleeping, struggling with breastfeeding, and typical new parent anxiety.

At MamaCare, our therapists are specially trained in a number of different parenting approaches, including positive parenting approaches and the attachment-based developmental model of Dr. Gordon Neufeld. We understand how much you love your kids, and want to be the best version of yourself for them, and yet, your own triggers, traumas, childhoods, and current stressors can get in the way of that. 

At MamaCare, we believe that your mental health is so intricately connected to that of your child’s mental health, that we combine support for you, the parent, while also offering support for your parenting practices.
